Imperial Heart
Five years ago, Malcon the Warrior was betrayed, blamed for the God Emperor’s death, and forced to flee into exile beyond the Empire’s great crystalline Wall and the protection it offers from the yearly Turnings which wreck the world outside. Now, with the help of unexpected allies from beyond the Wall, Mal has returned to put an end to the heinous scheme that seeks to sieze power from the God Emperors and corrupt the very purpose of the Empire.
To Chase Light
God is dead, but somebody still has to do the job.
For almost a thousand years the people of the Crystal Empire elect one of their own to be their God, to assume the mantle of authority and power over all creation, and to burn away in doing so. It is through this succession that the Crystal Empire has maintained its peace and stability for so long. Yet beyond the great crystalline walls that serve as the empire’s borders, each new god brings a change. Where once there was a forest may be a desert, where there were mountains may now be a sea. Temperate lands may freeze, or be washed away by constant deluge. It is from this rough, unpredictable fringe of the world that our unlikely heroine comes. Demara, a young woman from an insignificant tribe scratching out a living at the edge of the world, is the last person anyone would expect to set the world right again, yet through her determination, cleverness, and with some help from her friends, that’s just what she is going to do.

About This Story
It’s a new Doctor, a new River, and no spoilers.
This 2017-era Doctor Who fanfiction is set post-canon of the main Doctor Who TV show. At the time, I had sort of envisioned this as how I might pilot a season of the show with River Song as a companion, and exploring the kind of stories that could be told with a regenerating Time Lord companion who is NOT rooted in 21st century Earth.
Sunset Kingdom: Spring of Black Flowers
To the west, at the edges of the known world, lies Erazel, the Sunset Kingdom. A lone beacon of civilization in the wild barbarian lands of a once great empire, though many fear the kingdom’s time has come. The royal line of Chalent has extinguished itself in a blood feud with one of their former vassals turned royal rivals, House Aldrimar, who themselves are on the verge of falling apart.

Introduction
Genre: Space Opera Word Count: 2000 Words
Far away, at the edge of space and the end of time is the world of Rhial, one of the last vestiges of terrestrial life anywhere in the dark, star-less universe. It is a cold, harsh world, where person’s worth is measured in heat. While the world’s leaders know full well they live on borrowed time as the universe spins down, and are determined to eek out what living they can until then, many of traders and explorers who wander the ice insist the stars will return.
